MilanoArte wants to follow the Milan's aim to be the city of modernity in Italy.

The graphic chosen is an homage to rationalism, the movement that marked the twentieth century. Lombardy played a key role in Italy. We are talking about Giuseppe Terragni, Manlio Rho, Fausto Melotti and the BBPR studio, people able to overcome barriers and cultural limits of the fascist regime in Italy forecasting the upcoming future. They were the necessary conditions for the great cultural and economic development after the Second World War. Milan and Lombardy have been at the head of the economic and cultural boom of Italy in the 1950s, 60s and 70s.

Today Milan is one of the world's capitals of economy, fashion and design, it become natural to underline the relationship with Mondrian and the Bauhaus school.

Milan is a city able to offer an historic heritage coming from an important history, our graphic refers to a “modern” art movement. The contradiction is only apparent as the knowledge of the past and the awareness of the future cannot be taken apart.

MilanoArte is born with this ambition: spread knowledge, compare different worlds, surprise and entertain our guests.
